Two Men Sought In Kidnapping Attempt

SPRING VALLEY -- Sheriff's Deputies are looking for two men who attempted to kidnap a young woman in Spring Valley Thursday morning.

Deputies say two men tried to kidnap a 17-year-old girl in Spring Valley just before 11 Thursday morning as she walked near the intersection of Kenwood Drive and Campo Road. Deputies said the juvenile was approached by two men. The suspects drove up in an older (unknown model), burgundy four-door car and offered her a ride saying: "Hey beautiful, need a ride?" The girl declined. The passenger then got out of the car and grabbed the victim from her arm and shoulders in an attempt to get her into the car. The girl fought him off and ran away. The suspects were last seen driving westbound on Campo Road, toward the Wendy's. The girl suffered minor injuries. No weapon was used during the attempted kidnapping.

Suspect #1 (Passenger) is described as a black male adult in his 40s. He has a stocky build, approximately 5'8" tall with short black hair, unshaven, with acne scars. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, a dark jean jacket and black nylon sweatpants.

Suspect #2 (Driver) is described as a black male adult.
