Much was said, on both sides I must add here, that she has repeatedly exhibited bias and favor for the Obama Presidency, regardless of his amassed record of failure. Up until moments before the debate began this concern was being addressed. Then the big event…

Well, the sun must have got in his eyes!!!

So, we've seen the first of the Presidential debates and the only Vice Presidential debates. Is your head spinning? I watched both and and awaiting the next on this Tuesday evening. I watched, to my surprise, a Mitt Romney actually take it to his opponent who turned out to be the boob I have been talking about for well over 4 years. All during this debacle I am thinking about the "undecided voters". Question:  Exactly…

La Mesa City Council

Neighbors Don't Welcome 7-Eleven

LA MESA -- Tuesday's City Council was a short, mostly sweet affair, perhaps reflecting the looming election season and a desire by some not to rock the boat. The meeting featured a brief neighborhood struggle and some hopeful talk about Bill Walton and the NBA Hall of Famer's effort to help fundraise for a new Boys and Girls Club in La Mesa.

Several residents of the…

From one side we are harangued with why the country is falling into the pit, how the government is totally out of control, how teachers and unions are instrumental in the country's destruction, how massively…

Octoberfest a Smash

Well, after three great days of Octoberfesting the shows this year were great! I again "hosted" the main stage in the beer garden for the Chamber and all went very very well.

It's always fun to see so many good people come out in their "German" outfits and have a great time. Our German bands were excellent during the day, and those "Cartoon Dogs" just rocked the house on Friday & Saturday nights.

It appears that when I go on stage with the band on Friday & Saturday…
