"Wild rumor" about Keating's

During a discussion about small businesses in La Mesa and after speaking of the reports of closings of San Filippos, O'Dunns, and Cosmos, it was mentioned that Don Keating's was also closing.  Dang.  I felt the need to check this out.

So I drove over and chatted briefly with owner Rick Bucklew.

It is all a wild rumor, as it turns out.  Keating's is open and will remain open, even in the face of the challenges provided by all of the Streetscape construction.

It is encouraging to learn another small business is continuing the hard work in our small town.
