Tish Update...
Went to City of La Mesa Building Dept. They confirmed Walmart Neighborhood Market going in, funny enough right across from existing Wal-Mart store. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walmart_Market. Wal-Mart has been stepping up these type of stores often nearby existing super-stores. I think this avoids the huge Big Box Store arguments. They can even throw in a Hispanic or Asian format store in the peoper locations. Very smart!
On the In-N-Out Burger place, city says no way! They say it's going 2 B a Sherman Williams paint store. My informants still say In-N-Out. I think I'm going with city's paint store. Darn it!
Short sales routinely show up in credit reports as foreclosures

Large numbers of homeowners who have negotiated short sales are at risk because of a startling omission in the credit system. Their credit reports and scores indicate that they were foreclosed upon, rather than having negotiated a mutually agreeable resolution with their lender, and the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau are investigating why and how this happened.
