The Charter School of San Diego teachers and volunteers of Science Saturday are working hard to put together an exciting Science Saturday event for the Clairemont Burgener and Tierrasanta Public Libraries.  The topics that will be covered will all be centered on physical science. With multiple experiments that meet the California State Science Standards from grades K-8, this is an event for the whole family!

            Challenge yourselves with these questions:

  • Do you know how to make a liquid dance?
  • Will you be able to figure out how to lift a crate with just a pencil or crayon?
  • Do you know the best angle at which to launch a projectile for maximum distance?
  • Will you know how to make a pencil bend without breaking it?
  • Do you know how to capture a shadow?
  • Will you know how to make raisins dance?
  • Do you know how to make balloons kiss?

If you would like to answer ANY of these questions, then please join us for the Science Saturday September Extravaganza at 10 a.m. on September 14, 2013, at the Clairemont Burgener Library and September 21, 2013, at the Tierrasanta Public Library!

This event is hosted by The Charter School of San Diego.  If you would like to learn more about their community activities or about how your student can attend The Charter School of San Diego, please contact us at 858-678-2020 or e-mail us at info@charterschool-sandiego.net
