Love where you live!
We are a group of neighbors organizing to ask the City to continue existing requirements to build a sound wall along the freeway that we were promised between Garfield Avenue and SR-125, along what was formerly known as "Moening's Nursery."
It was agreed to by the Developer as one of the conditions required by the City when the "La Mesa Meadows" PRD project was approved, who is now asking the City to drop this requirement.
Please check out our website at http://www.GarfieldNeighborhood.com . It explains our concerns, how to sign our petition, as well as where, when and how to contact the Planning Commission.
We are also looking for volunteers to help us circulate our petition.
And, please, please pass this along as you think might be helpful to support our neighborhood!
Many thanks in advance,
Gary King, Kristin Kjaero, Mary Putnam

However, the developer has asked to come before the Planning Commission (tentatively on April 6), to request that requirement be dropped.
