$350-$400 a month each for car allowance? This is ridiculous.

According the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System on-line trip planner the meeting locations for the Mission Trails Regional Park Task Force, Metropolitan Transit System and SANDAG are within one block of a trolly stop in downtown San Diego. The other meeting are the following walking distances from a trolly stop, Heartland Communications-1/2 of a mile, Heartland Fire-6/10 of a miles and SD MM Joint Powers Authority-1.1 miles.
Is it time for the $21,600 yearly total auto allowance be cut back to a more reasonable amount and our champions of public transportation actually take public transportation themselves to most of these meetings?
