Belly Dancing And Dancing In The Park

LA MESA -- If the holiday in the middle of the week didn't leave you exhausted and going to bed early, there are still a few special things to do this weekend in the Jewel of the Hills.

AN EVENING OF ARABIC DELIGHTS:

On La Mesa's west side, an interesting new restaurant is quickly becoming a dining and entertainment Mecca -- pun intended. Haritna Mediterranean has a regular comedy night, regular jazz evenings and on this Saturday, the owners are going to their roots with an evening of Arabic Singing & Belly Dancing. The food at Haritna is classic Middle Eastern fare done well and their entertainment is welcoming and well organized. Looking for something different in La Mesa tonight? What beats belly dancers? Arabic Night is the first and third Saturdays of the month and the shows begin at 8 at Haritna, 7303 El Cajon Blvd., La Mesa.

SUNDAYS AT SIX CONCERT:

This Sunday evening's offering at Harry Griffen Park features Breez'n, a dance and variety band that is a favorite of many who attend this weekly free concert. Music starts at 6 p.m. CLICK HERE for more information.

Their credit reports and scores indicate that they were foreclosed upon, rather than having negotiated a mutually agreeable resolution with their lender, and the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau are investigating why and how this happened.
