Car Crashes, Blocks Trolley

FLETCHER PARKWAY -- Rains continued to spur spinouts and traffic problems across the region including La Mesa.

Police issued a warning just before 3 p.m. that a one car accident 8635 Fletcher Parkway was causing traffic backups. Police said the car went through the trolley gates and became stuck on the tracks.

Police recommended avoiding the area for the next hour as crews worked to clear the tracks and get car and trolley traffic started again.
