Chamber Celebrates New Board Members

MISSION VALLEY -- La Mesa business leaders gathered at the Town & Country Resort Thursday night to celebrate the holidays and install its newest board members.

Chamber Executive Director Mary England announced that the requisite percentage of votes had been cast to elect the new board members, many of whom were subsequently sworn in by City Councilman Ernie Ewin.

The organization also presented DeAna Verbeke, a departing board member, with presents of thanks for service to the organization.

The new board members elected for one year terms include Mark Daemon of Esteem-Daemon Enterprises, Robert Hollie of the Lions Club of La Mesa, Mike McCorkle of Excell Security, Marcia Tolin of Windermere Real Estate SoCal.  Jim Wieboldt of Unique Travel Concepts was elected to a two-year term.
