O'Dunn Fine Art Bounces Right Back

LA MESA -- Shannon O'Dunn was presenting an art show in honor of her late husband when a truck ripped through the front of her store, O'Dunn Fine Art on La Mesa Boulevard. Glass shards sprayed through the gallery, ruining the facade and all the flooring.

Fortunately, the shop was closed at the moment of the June 2nd accident so no one was hurt.

On Friday night, the resilient art maven had new windows up, new flooring and carpeting in place and was cutting a ribbon with friends and family to signal her return to business.
"I'm back!'' she said and started selling pieces of art, many of which were part of the "Mountain Gold" show featuring pieces inspired by Julian and the Lake Cuyamaca area her late husband so adored.
