LA MESA -- The sight of scaffolding and work crews in La Mesa Village was a sign of some spring cleanup for a couple of the older buildings in the city.
Both projects, at the corner of La Mesa Boulevard and Nebo (the city's first commercial building) at the corner of La Mesa Boulevard and Palm both promised to add a little polish to two buildings that had been in need of it.
Both projects include cleaning and painting.
Leah Tavares, who is working on the Palm/La Mesa Boulevard building said the family trustee that owns the building just wanted to give it some tender loving care.
