LA MESA -- Sales of lower-priced homes led the housing market through the first half of 2012 in La Mesa, reflecting the trends seen on the national scene.
However, with prices down and interest rates remaining at historic lows, competition for the homes coming on the market remains extremely strong. While many homeowners who are thinking of selling have been waiting for prices to rebound, others are moving now to take advantage of lower prices in the places to which they are looking to relocate.
