Pedestrians Robbed at Gunpoint

LA MESA -- Just after midnight Saturday, at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, two pedestrians in the 4300 block of
Rosebud Lane were robbed by a suspect armed with a handgun.
The unknown suspect approached the male and female victim as they were standing on the sidewalk. The suspect produced a silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded the victims’ money and cell phones.

 After the victims complied, the suspect ran away southbound on Rosebud Lane. Officers searched the area
with assistance from the San Diego Police Department's helicopter but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black, adult male in his mid-20s, approximately 6-feet-1-inch tall and about 155 pounds. The suspect was wearing all black clothing including a black jacket. He was clean shaven with a dark complexion.

You can remain anonymous, and be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 for information in this case.
