Circle K Near Grossmont Robbed
LA MESA -- A sheriff's helicopter and La Mesa police units were searching just after 10 p.m. for a robbery suspect who hit the Circle K at La Mesa Boulevard and Grossmont Boulevard.
Police said the suspect used a knife to demand cash from the store and then fled on foot.
Police patrols were working in tandem with the helicopter and canine units. The store is located just off I-8 and the 125.
Police described the suspect as a 24 to 25 year old Hispanic male, thin, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue, short-sleeved shirt with blue long sleeved shirt underneath it, and blue work type pants.
