Man Beaten, Laptop Stolen

LA MESA -- A man was accosted by two robbers who stole his laptop computer late Monday afternoon in La Mesa.
Police said the victm reported to police at 3:23 p.m. that the computer had been stolen about an hour earlier near the intersection of Chloe Avenue and Buckland Street.
The male victim came to the police station after he was walking at the intersection, when a suspect questioned him about his laptop computer. The suspect tried to take the laptop from the victim and the victim struggled to keep hold. A second suspect then struck the victim in the face with his fist. The suspect took control of the laptop and was last seen fleeing westbound on Buckland Street. The male sustained minor injuries to his face, but did not need medical attention.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1: Black male adult, light complexion, about 25 years old, 6’1”, approximately 170 pounds, wearing a black T-shirt and blue jean shorts. The suspect had neck length hair and braids. He also had an unknown tattoo on his left forearm.

Suspect #2: Hispanic male adult, about 25 years old, 5’9”, approximately 150 pounds, unknown clothing. The suspect had short spiky black hair.
