Teacher's Aide Charged With Sex Crimes
LA MESA -- A 25-year-old teacher's aide was arrested Monday and will face sex charges after police say their investigation determined the woman had had sex with a 15-year-old student on the school property.
Police responded to a complaint from the Reflections Central School located at 8374 Hercules St., La Mesa. School officials had contacted the police department after receiving information that Chrystina Delrosario, a 25 year-old female teacher’s aide from La Mesa may have had sexual intercourse with a 15 year-old male student.
A patrol officer was assisted by detectives, who conducted the preliminary investigation. At about 1:00 p.m., officers arrested the female suspect. The sexual acts reportedly occurred on school property on or about June 27, 2012. The suspect was later booked into Las Colinas Jail.
Reflections Central School is an educational program for young offenders run by the San Diego County Office of Education in affiliation with the San Diego County Probation Department.
Delrosario was charged with Lewd Act with a Child, Intent to Commit a Sexual Offense with a Minor and Unlawful Sexual Intercourse with a Minor.
The Investigation is ongoing.
