Police Seeking Identity Of Assailant
LA MESA -- On June 13 at approximately 8:00 p.m., La Mesa Police officers responded to a radio call of a battery involving two males at the MTS Trolley Station in the 8200 block of La Mesa Boulevard. The victim, a 52 year old male was struck multiple times and kicked in the head after he exited the trolley. The motive for
the attack is unknown at this time. At the time of the call, the suspect had already left the scene. The victim did not initially desire prosecution. LMPD officers later obtained video surveillance from the trolley and began an investigation into the incident. The victim was transported to Alvarado Hospital where he was treated for head and facial injuries and then released.
The suspect in this case is a black male, approximately 17 years old, with longer braided hair, wearing a white sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black baseball cap, and red tennis shoes.
