The Car Show Is Back!

LA MESA -- This Thursday Night the La Mesa Village Merchants Association will be opening the doors to the Village for their 22nd year with the Back To The 50's Classic Cars & Bikes Show.

There will be three areas of entertainment this year starting across the tracks on La Mesa at the Yogurt Mill where the Santana Brothers will be rockin the house. The corner of La Mesa & Palm will feature Mike on the Mic and Don Keating Cars will host the popular Moondawgs band , oldies rock n roll.

The merchants will be running specials on Thursday nights for the large volume of spectators and car buffs who will be walking the streets. "Crusin" the Blvd. will be popular as in days gone by and all eateries will be very busy.

Jump'n Jack Flash (the DJ for 20 years) will be the new Operations Manager of the shows, working on behalf of the Merchants Association. This is a great family event full of Classic Cars, Hot Rods, and Motorcycles and entertainment.

ALL cars and spectators will need to pay attention to the new street signs as well as the "parking meter signs".
