Helix Highlanders Need Your Support

The Helix Instrumental Music Program has a long history of excellence.  In past years, our students have competed against the best schools in California and taken home numerous awards.  They have proudly marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade, down Main Street USA at Disneyland, and at many holiday parades and observances.

This year, the band, color guard and bagpipes at Helix Charter High School are preparing an amazing field show, Carmen, and a competitive parade routine for all of our home football halftime shows and 4 to 5 regional marching competitions.  For extra fine-tuning of their show, they are scheduled for a 12-hour Rehearse-A-Thon on Saturday, September 15th, 2012 from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Due to state budget restrictions, the school is unable to provide all the funds necessary for the Music Program.  We hope to count on your support in our efforts to maintain a successful program.

If you would like to help make 2012-2013 a great year for the Helix Highlander Band, please consider sponsoring a student in the Rehearse-A-Thon!  All money donated for the Rehearse-A-Thon is tax deductible.
