POWAY -- La Mesa police Monday announced they had found the body of a 43-year-old La Mesa man who had been reported missing by his family. Police said the death was caused by an apparent suicide.

Police Find Missing 93-year-old
LA MESA -- Police were looking late Thursday afternoon for a 93-year-old woman who was missing and vulnerable.
Police said that Jovita Lopez, 93, who had gray hair and was wearing a gray sweatshirt, white shirt, and teal pants, was last seen at Marian and Hybeth at 4:30 p.m.
Just after 6 p.m. Lopez was found safe and unharmed.
