SANTEE -- The new span of State Road 52 opened this morning and, for residents living east and north of highway 67, getting to La Jolla or the Golden Triangle just got easier.

Arrests Made in Park Fight

NORTHMONT PARK – La Mesa police say it started with some young men fighting over a girl.

It ended Wednesday with a victim still struggling for life in a hospital and three teens facing felony charges – including attempted murder.
