Craig S. Maxwell commented on David Smyle's blog post 'Taxation Without Representation is Alive and Well'
"Uh, wrong. In a democratic republic, (like ours) the people elect those who "actively participate," and work (politically) to "change things." And when those elected fail to fulfill their promises and duties, it is both our right…"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on David Smyle's blog post 'Taxation Without Representation is Alive and Well'
"...A sad reflection of the nation as a whole. Politicians at all levels--Federal, State and local--as well as board members like those that comprise the HWD, depend on two things for their success: the ignorance and apathy of We the Sovereign…"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on David Stanley's blog post 'Why do YOU hate Sarah Palin?'
"I don't hate Sarah Palin, though I do have reservations about her presidential candidacy. In any case, Palin's polarizing effect can, I believe, best be understood as a concrete example of Bill Buckley's observation that he'd…"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Russell Buckley's blog post 'Russell Buckley On Pensions'
"For the conscienceless expenditure of other people's money, government always takes the cake. The example of Lemon Grove is bad enough, but La Mesa is far worse. Right now, city officials are preparing to impose a PBID (i.e., taxes) on downtown…"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Russell Buckley's blog post 'Russell Buckley On Pensions'
"Another fine post, Russell. Thank you. This kind of reminds me of an old joke. John Q. Public was asked, "What's the biggest problem in America today, ignorance or apathy. He responded, "I don't know, and I don't…"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Scott H. Kidwell's blog post 'Ethics in Goverment'
"Scott, While "moral and ethical people" wouldn't likely object, you're not challenging moral and ethical people (for whom this challenge would be redundant). You're challenging politicians. Good luck!"Behold, a sower…"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Russell Buckley's blog post 'Time For Our City Council To Speak-Up'
"Thank you once again, Russell. However, something tells me that until insolent, quasi-governmental agencies like HWD (SDG&E is another...) fear the wrath of rate-payers more than they do the Unions, nothing will change."

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Jeff Raybould's blog post 'Police Union Offers Election Message'
"Yes, then, to fines of $750.00 OR $1000.00?"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Jeff Raybould's blog post 'Police Union Offers Election Message'
"Being fined nearly $500.00 for not coming to a total dead halt doesn't seem overly punitive? You've got to be kidding!? How about $750.00 or $1000.00?"

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Jeff Raybould's blog post 'Police Union Offers Election Message'
"Second para. should read: "But I want to know if you think it's just.""

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Jeff Raybould's blog post 'Police Union Offers Election Message'
"Right on, Russell. And no one (including our so-called elected "leaders") has shed more light on the part played by exorbitant pensions than you."

Craig S. Maxwell commented on Jeff Raybould's blog post 'Police Union Offers Election Message'
"Dexter, Regardless of where the money goes, do you think that $465.00 fines (for failing to come to a mathematically precise halt on a right turn) are reasonable and just?"
Oct 26, 2010
Craig S. Maxwell commented on Jeff Raybould's blog post 'Police Union Offers Election Message'
"Wherever the money goes, there sure is a lot of it going. My Sister recently got a camera ticket (a Hollywood stop at a right turn) for $465.00. Yes, you read correctly: four hundred and sixty-five dollars. Talk about an obscene injustice. And…"

Yes I saw the 10 report when it was reported, it stands as reported, as I remember the Ins. Co did cover the damage, but I don't remember any thing as a Hit & Run Citation, as you call it!

Craig, the best that I can determine you attempted to send me 2 blog’s first at 10:42 AM then a second at12:08 PM today, for what ever reason I was unable to read them in total when I clicked on the Link I got “Our apologies – this page was not found”.
I was only able to read the first 2 ½ sentences of each blog---given only this info let me give you this answer on what I think you were offering!

ANS <> Craig, I am not going to support or be involved in any way in your accusations, if you have substantiation you and your sources need to take what ever you have to the correct authorities. When your info is substantiated by the appropriate jurisdiction, then I will give it the respect that it deserves until then it’s all hearsay and innuendo. Only you can deal with it!
